Software

Four tools for the one night it can't fail.

Small, sharp, single-purpose macOS software for the people who run live shows for a living. Each one does exactly one show-day job, was built between load-in and doors, and shipped only after it held up on a real show.

Timecode · Ableton Live

LiveTC™

Lock Ableton Live to SMPTE timecode, and capture the whole show.

A standalone macOS menu-bar app. Live's transport follows your timecode master without re-seeking or glitching, and Capture Mode records a whole timecoded session from any DAW into an empty Set.

  • Rock-solid lock with no audible corrections
  • Grid and TC-Only sync modes
  • Capture Mode with a per-take report

Available nowmacOS 12+ · Ableton Live 11.3+

Live plugin host · FOH and stage

LiveRack™

The insert rack you can bet a show on.

AU and VST3 plugins in console-style chains on any interface. Snapshots recall from the desk, MIDI learns on everything, delay compensation keeps chains aligned, and a misbehaving plugin can't take the rack down.

  • Crash isolation at runtime
  • Snapshots with Program Change recall and recall safe
  • Measured plugin latency in the browser

Available nowmacOS 13+ · Apple silicon & Intel · AU + VST3

Network audio · Mac to Mac

Audioduct™

The Ethernet cable is the snake.

2 to 32 channels of audio between Macs over ordinary gigabit Ethernet, with Primary/Backup failover that snaps in milliseconds, a hardware watchdog, and per-channel gain with live meters.

  • Selectable channel count, up to 32
  • Primary/Backup failover built in
  • Receiver-driven: senders need no configuration

Available nowmacOS 14+ · wired gigabit recommended

Crew comms · voice to text

Gainware Chat™

Talk. It becomes text. Everyone reads it live.

A voice-to-text intercom for live-production crews. On-device transcription, over your own network, no cloud and no accounts. Mac app, iPhone and Apple Watch apps, and a zero-install web viewer.

  • Audio never leaves the device
  • Runs with no internet
  • Free, with a per-Mac license key

Better together

One rig, four tools, no seams

Each tool stands alone. Put them on the same rig and they cover the whole signal path from timecode to the crew's ears.

Timecode across the rig

Audioduct™ carries LTC bit-clean from the FOH rig to the playback Mac; LiveTC™ locks Ableton to it. Same timecode, every machine.

Plugins at front of house

LiveRack™ hosts the inserts between console and PA, recalled by the desk's Program Changes, with a plugin that can't take the show down.

The crew on one page

Gainware Chat™ puts calls in writing on every screen in the building, with no network dependency beyond the switch you already trust.

Rather have it built?

We build the rig. You run the show.

Gainware™ designs and builds playback, in-ear, front-of-house, and lighting systems: racks, cabling, patch panels, and the software to make it all one system.
